Ok, I am finally doing a real “about” section. I am a homebrewer that has been brewing for six years now in Central New York. I enjoy a wide variety of styles beer types. I started this blog because I had a vision that a blog could act as a brew notebook that is web-based for the world to see.
Since I started this blog, I’ve been surprised at what I have gotten back from it. While its honestly more work than a traditional brew notebook, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on a brew day and seek answers. Sometimes I don’t feel like writing because something went wrong and I just want to forget about the day. But I don’t and in the end, it’s been great to review what I do and write about.
Beyond that, I’ve made contact with brewers from all over the world. I’ve even done a few beer exchanges and gotten some feedback on the beer that I’m making. Sometimes it feels a little cliche to say that we’re “an organic online community” but in reality we are. Most homebrew bloggers don’t make money, we just like to brew and drink great beer.
I’m an internet buff so if you have any ideas or would just like to chat about brewing, feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, also consider following me on Twitter at @cnybrew
Thanks for stopping. Cheers.
